Red factor Sun Conure on eggs #3

Sunkiss is on eggs again! She laid her 1st one Sunday June 27, 2010. She typically will lay one every 3 days until there are 3 eggs. Guess we will see what happens this time :)

The picture is from just minutes before Sunkiss laid. Pictured is Sunkiss on the left, Pyro on the right, and my 3 month old Amira.

I will candle the eggs in a week or so.

  1. If you breed one of your reds to a regular sun, you will get 50/50 red/regular or better. Most breeders aren't breeding two reds because of the inviability genetically speaking. Typically, the eggs just won't be fertile. I'm looking for a pair, one sun, one red factor....=) In doing my research, I have tremendously enjoyed your site...Your baby AND your conures are so gorgeous and sweet. I hope you will continue posting updates! =)
